The A Level entry requirements for this course are: AAA including Chemistry and a second science. Other requirements include GCSE Maths grade 4/C. Second science subjects include Biology/Human Biology, Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Psychology or Geography. BTEC Applied Science / Applied Science (Biomedical Science) must include the units: Practical Chemical Analysis, Applications of Organic Chemistry and Applications of Inorganic Chemistry. BTEC Applied Science (Analytical & Forensic Science) must include the units: Practical Chemical Analysis, Applications of Organic Chemistry, and Applications of Inorganic Chemistry; and at least one of the following units: Physiology of Human Body Systems, Human Regulation & Reproduction, Biological Molecules & Metabolic Pathways, Diseases & Infections, Microbiology & Microbiological Techniques, Biomedical Science or Medical Physics Applications.
