Transcript:
Submit scanned (unofficial) transcripts as part of the Biosciences application. If you are invited for an interview, then we will need two official copies of each transcript. (Ignore the instructions on the main Stanford Graduate Admission site about transcripts.)
Curriculum Vitae:
Please include an up-to-date version of your CV.
Personal Statement:
In your Personal Statement, please tell us how your schooling, work, research, and life experience prepares you for study at BMI, describe your research interests and career goals, and explain how our training program will enable you to achieve them. The Personal Statement should be 1-2 pages.
Recommendation Letter:
Three letters of recommendation are required. Please be sure that you ask for a recommendation from at least one individual who can address your potential for original and creative research. In most cases, that individual would be the person in charge of or guiding your most recent research activities. It is very important that you contact your recommenders before submitting their information in the online application. You must choose whether or not you waive your right to see a recommendation before you submit the recommender's information. It may be that a recommender will not submit a recommendation if you have not waived the right to see it. This should be discussed in advance. All recommendations must be submitted using the online application system.
