Personal Statement:
The statement of purpose should be 300-500 words concerning your purpose for undertaking or continuing graduate study, your reasons for wanting to study at Purdue, and your research interests, professional plans, and career goals. You also may explain any special circumstances applicable to your background and elaborate on your scholarly publications, awards, achievements, abilities, and/or professional history.
Recommendation Letter:
Recommendation letters three official letters of recommendation. Recommendation letters must be submitted through the on-line application system. We cannot accept recommendation letters through email. If your recommender must write a paper letter, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the writer's signature over the flap.
Copy of Diploma:
Copy of official diploma of each degree already completed
Diversity Essay:
The Diversity essay is required from applicants seeking funding. The essay should be 500 words or less, responding to the statement: Describe your leadership, work experience, service experience, or other significant involvement with racial, ethnic, socio-economic, or educational communities that have traditionally been underrepresented in higher education, and how these experiences would promote a diversity of views, experiences, and ideas in the pursuit of research, scholarship, and creative excellence.
